Start with power. Use the included USB-C power adapter, or a computer USB port that provides enough power, and wait for the on-screen welcome flow. Keep the sensor nearby while you pair it so the app and device stay in Bluetooth range.
Pair and claim. The device shows a 6-digit passkey during Bluetooth pairing. After pairing, the app completes the claim flow so the sensor belongs to your account.
Connect Wi-Fi. Enter your Wi-Fi details in the app. Terrestream supports 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi; keep SSIDs to 32 characters or fewer and passwords to 63 characters or fewer.
Place it in open room air. Avoid direct vents, windows, humidifiers, cooking bursts, and blocked airflow. For most rooms, a stable shelf or table away from obvious sources gives better trend data.
Give it time. Once online, watch the first readings settle before treating a spike as a room-wide condition. Placement and fresh activity nearby can dominate the first few minutes.
