Sub-processors

This page lists the service providers that process personal data for Aerodyne Inc. to run Terrestream, as referenced by our Data Processing Agreement (Annex C) and Privacy Policy (§P5.2). The live list is served from our register; this copy is shown when the register is unavailable. Changes are governed by §7 of the DPA: commercial customers receive at least 30 days' notice before we add or replace a sub-processor.

Service providers

• Vultr: Cloud servers that host our websites, the Terrestream API and our databases, including backups. United States.
• Cloudflare: DNS, content delivery, firewall and encryption in transit (TLS) for our websites and API; Turnstile bot checks on our forms; visitor country for the price currency; network error reports. Worldwide network.
• Proton: Inbound email: messages you send to our @terrestream.com addresses, including support and privacy requests. Switzerland.
• Mailgun: Outbound email from mg.terrestream.com: account and security emails, Family Circle invitations, order and shipping emails, contact-form and privacy-request messages, Facilities quotes and alerts. United States.
• Twilio: Text-message (SMS) alerts for Terrestream Facilities responders who opt in: phone number and alert text. Voice calls are not used. United States.
• Stripe: Payments for web-shop orders, subscriptions and Facilities invoices, fraud checks, and the payment options listed below. Checkout records carry campaign tags and, only if you opted in to advertising measurement, ad click and cookie identifiers. United States, European Union.
• EasyPost: Shipping labels and tracking for orders we ship with FedEx: recipient name, shipping address and order reference. United States.
• Apple APNs: Delivers iPhone notifications and Live Activities. Notification content can include room names, status, alert text and some readings. United States.
• Google FCM: Delivers Android notifications (Firebase Cloud Messaging, with Firebase Installations). Notification content can include room names, status, alert text and some readings. United States.
• Firebase App Check: Confirms that requests to our API come from genuine Terrestream apps (Apple App Attest or DeviceCheck, Google Play Integrity). United States.
• Sign in with Apple: Optional sign-in with your Apple account in our apps and on the web. United States.
• Google Sign-In: Optional sign-in with your Google account in our apps and on the web. United States.
• Apple App Store: Distributes the Terrestream iPhone app. United States.
• Google Analytics: Website analytics, only if you allow analytics cookies: pages visited and, for orders, a purchase event sent from our servers (Measurement Protocol). The _ga cookie lasts up to 2 years. United States.
• Anthropic: Language models (Claude): answers the questions you type into the assistant on our support page, and summarizes public news for the dashboard. United States.
• OpenAI: Language models: backup for the dashboard news summaries, used only when Anthropic is unavailable. United States.
• Google Maps Platform: Outdoor air quality and pollen for an approximate area around your home, or your approximate location on our website (Air Quality and Pollen APIs). United States.
• Open-Meteo: Outdoor weather, forecasts, climate normals and outdoor air-quality data for an approximate area. European Union.
• U.S. National Weather Service: Official weather alerts for homes in the United States, looked up for an approximate area rather than your address. United States.
• DB-IP: IP-to-location database that runs on our own servers; no data is sent to DB-IP. United States.

Payment options you choose at checkout

If you pay with one of these options, that provider handles the payment with Stripe, and its own terms and privacy policy apply to you.

• Apple Pay: Wallet payment, if you choose it at checkout. United States.
• Google Pay: Wallet payment, if you choose it at checkout. United States.
• Klarna: Pay-later option, if you choose it at checkout. United States, European Union.
• Affirm: Pay-later option, if you choose it at checkout. United States.
• Afterpay: Pay-later option, if you choose it at checkout. United States.
• Cash App Pay: Cash App payment, if you choose it at checkout. United States.

Advertising partners (only if you opt in)

These partners receive data only if you opt in to advertising measurement. You can change your choice at any time with “Your Privacy Choices” at the bottom of every page.

• Meta: Ad measurement with the Meta Pixel and Conversions API, only if you opt in: pages visited, product and checkout steps, purchases, and Meta browser identifiers. United States.
• Reddit: Ad measurement with the Reddit Pixel and Conversions API, only if you opt in: pages visited, product and checkout steps, purchases, and the Reddit click identifier. United States.
• Pinterest: Ad measurement with the Pinterest tag, only if you opt in: pages visited, checkout steps and purchases. United States.

Change history

• 2026-09-27: Added Vultr, Cloudflare, Proton, Twilio, EasyPost, Firebase App Check, Sign in with Apple, Google Sign-In and the U.S. National Weather Service. Listed the payment options you can choose at checkout and the advertising partners used only if you opt in. Removed Amazon Web Services, Amazon, Google Play and Google (Gemini); we don’t offer in-app subscription billing or 3D map tiles, so those mentions are gone. Updated the descriptions of Mailgun, Stripe, Apple APNs, Google FCM, Apple App Store, Google Analytics, Anthropic, OpenAI, Google Maps Platform, Open-Meteo and DB-IP.
